Design is an incredibly exciting process: it is an opportunity to solve problems, organise space and resolve functionality and then to complete the resolution with style and colour. Good design does this.  

My approach is in fact quite simple. Elegance should be discreet and speak for itself, with every home reflecting its owner’s unique identity. This is the ultimate pleasure as a designer - capturing that uniqueness and transferring it into a visual reference.

My business has evolved over the past twenty years from these basic principles. My background in product design was based on the principle that form follows function. And so it does. Good design changes things - how we move, how we feel, and how we live. Design will not protect us from what life throws at us, but it can change how we live within that private space we call our own.

As a designer, there is no greater point in a project than when a client says, “I can’t believe this is mine”. Then you know you have succeeded. To achieve this is my responsibility as a designer, and it is the ultimate goal.
